You finally make it out of the circle of people and start running towards safety. Someone in a cloak grabs you and pulls you into somewhere safe. Inside the safe haven, you find a mythical creature looking straight at you...
Describe the haven, the creature, and the meaning of the stare.
Well, i know we r in a castle but im going with we go thru some kind of passage to a hidden cave. Theres vividly blue, clear, running water in the cave and its not "dark" but its not brightly lit either, its more on the dark then light side though. It isnt the sort of place that too many ppl seem to know about, its VERY well hidden and/or deep so no one would stumble upon it from the outside. The creature i see when i get there is a dragon, very large, powerful, and commanding. The stare i get is one of expectation, or knowing, i expect the dragon to tell me something wise or a "i have been expecting you" and then some kind of prophesy. The dragon doesnt seem threatened or intimidated by my presence and he doesnt seem to expect me to be intimidated or scared of him either, almost as if he expects/trusts me to be in control.

So i was just pulled behind a hidden passage way behind a wall. I know that I am safe, but i am still anxious, and always keeping one eye on the doorway. the room is cool (as in temperature) and quiet.. it shuts out most of the noise from the rest of the castle. We still whisper despite the sound proof-ness. its dimly lit, and furnished only with a few chairs, and maybe a rug. The walls are stone and cold to touch. In the room there is only me, the cloaked savior, and an interesting creature. it is about the size of a man, and looks like a cross between a fox, a liger, pegasus, and charmander. the features that stand out the most are its protruding white wings, firey red/orange fur, and giant brown eyes that seems to see into my soul. we stare eachother down, but are not making any noise. i feel like I understand the creature, telepathically i suppose. it is calming and informative, but I couldnt articulate what i discover.

The safe haven is better lit and more airy than the main castle. The creature staring at me is a pigeon and it's just staring at me, with it's head cocked to the side. There's not much meaning in its stare (it's just a bird), but it does look curious to see me. And then, like a phoenix, it bursts into flames and disintegrates into ash.
