Medieval Day 1

The game of psychoanalysis is just that, a game. Do not take anything out of this to heart and consider it only as accurate as Ms. Cleo for $2.99 a minute. There are 14 days in this game correlating to 14 questions. The 15th day will be used to simply resolve the answers given by the last question.

Here's how to play:
I ask a question about an image in front of you. Based on predetermined guidelines, I create an analysis of what that image says about your subconscious mind.

Post all of your answers as comments to the blogpost and your analysis will come the following day in the following post after the question.

Feel free to join in on any day as all previous days have no effect on later ones.

Day 1:
Take a deep breath. You are in the medieval age and as such are surrounded by that world. Today is your first day on your journey to finding out more about yourself. To begin, you find yourself looking upon your castle. Describe the walls (height, thickness, material), how much of the image the castle takes up in your minds eye, and how close you are to the castle itself.

  1. Cinderella's castle is a pretty accurate description. Tall and thin made out of smooth white/light blue brick and maybe glass, pointy towers etc (pretty much exactly Cinderella's castle). Takes up about 1/3 of the image centered and im far away looking at a distance so i can see the whole castle and gates etc.

  3. my castle has 4 towers connected by a wall probably 10 feet high. there's a flag waving at each tower. the stone it's made out of is smooth, light grey, and is a few inches thick.
on its left is a cliff with water that glistens in the sun. the rest is a lush forest on its right and a small medium brown footpath weaving through the woods. its a little off in the distance. so it takes up about 1/4th of my view on the upper left hand corner while the rest is trees with berries. i think i'm a 20 minute hike away.

    "very interesting?"

  4. The castle is pretty normal. It's about 2 stories in height, made of aged and weathered stone. The thickness is about a foot's worth, about enough for 2 layers of stone. The castle takes up a substantial amount of the view-about 1/3-but there's plenty of the background in view. I'm probably 100 feet away, where I feel the castle's presence, but not so much that I'm overwhelmed by it either.

  5. My castle takes up a lot of the image as I am standing right before the draw bridge. It is a vertical image. The castle is not very wide, but extremely high, each tower reaching higher then the next and flags, arches, and gargoyles everywhere.

  6. My castle takes up half of my view. It's made of logs- I'm going to say Ponderosa pine because it's my favorite log cabin material. It doesn't look like it's that big of a castle, but I if you go into it, I think it would prove a lot bigger than expected. I'm not terribly close, I would say about a football field away.

  7. My castle takes up a little more than half of the image (7/12ths perhaps). It is on a hill and made of gray stone (so its very thick and sturdy). The stone is old looking but not too dark. The front is like a large rectangle with two towers on each side. It doesn't look too big from the front but it probably goes back far. It is two stories high and the towers are three. I am standing at the bottom of the hill looking up so maybe about a football field away also.

  8. my castle looks like a stereotypical castle, like the ones you see in cartoons and such. it's gray and has salmon-colored peak tops, it's moderately-sized. it has thick gray stone blocks; there is a gate to it but it's not rolled down to let anyone in right now. it's like closed up. the castle itself has dark marks on it though!

  9. My castle is on the top of a mountain. It's made of white brick, with a tower at each corner (there are 4). It's only medium-sized. I'm probably 30 minutes away from it, but that's mostly because it's uphill. Even though I'm relatively close, the castle takes up only 1/3 - 1/2 of the image. The rest is mountains.
